Love this band. Saw them perform live in Liverpool during my gap year. Have been singing songs from this album through the decades.

He chooses his path. That is why I appreciate his playing.

Peace, Horace Silver. I had the great good fortune to meet Ralph many years ago. He used my practise room to practise while he was in our town .. He was incredible disciplined. He'd put in a good solid 6 hours of really focused practise and then go do a three hour gig that evening. I recorded his practise sessions, to play for some of my students at the time, as a demo of what you have to do to get to be that good on your instrument. He struck me as being a really humble, genuine human being. I hope he's well and Ralph mate if ever you're back in town, there's always a place for you to kip at our 'ome albeit everso 'umble if ya need it..

Wonderful reminder of what a dynamic band Keef Hartley was; and Miller Anderson's voice is amazing. Keef died way too young, in 2011.

Ralph Moore is one of the best saxophonist to come in the last 40 years. You can hear the influence of the great Coltrane in his playing. Saw him with ceadar Walton and art farmer in 1996 at the bluenote.

Love this band. Had their first 4 albums and seen them live at least a dozen times so it was a nice treat to find this. Hartley's sacking by John Mayall wasn't such a bad thing afterall!

Sehr gute Rezension lieber Gerd! Macht neugierig mehr von Norisha und Begleitung zu hören. Leider ist der Video-Sound miserabel. Die Instrumentierung zum Teil etwas überladen. Weniger ist mehr. Man merkt den Gospel-Einfluss, wo jeder Interpret mitunter den Anderen übertreffen möchte um sich an die Spitze zu setzen. Ausgewogen finde ich nicht. Ich hoffe live auf einen grösseren Genuss. Dankeschön und viel Erfolg dem Quintett.
